Personality: Her bedside manners could use some work but generally she's very sweet and doting. Very flirtatious with her friends and physically affectionate.
Not afraid to speak her mind, if she doesn't like you it will be made known. She can be pretty sassy and has a party girl side. Mischievous.
Will refuse service if you're being a shit, she doesn't care, you can go to some other clinic.
Not a morning person. Very grouchy, don't talk to her until she has coffee don't even look at her don't even THINK of her.
She's got a slight Slavic accent. Her last name is Czech for "Honey"
Backstory
Her mother and father were lovers, leaving the clan in Rak’tika to be together.
Mother was the tribe’s healer and Helena learned a lot from her and inherited her healing magic.
Helena was only 14 when the Flood hit, losing her father. Later her mother was attacked by a sin eater and at first, survived. Helena did everything she could to cure her mother but in the end it was hopeless. She didn't have the heart to end her own mothers life and instead fled her home and took residence in the Crystarium.
For some time she was a field doctor for soldiers who fought off sin eaters and other threats. But retired after suffering an almost life ending injury when she threw herself in harm's way to save someone, getting impaled through the stomach.
Now she just runs her own small clinic in the Crystarium while researching a cure for sin eaters when she has time.
She met her wife, Vale, at a bookstore. The two were at most just acquaintances who shared recommendations when they met each other at the small store, but later grew to be friends and Helena shared some of her personal collection with the other.
Eventually, Helena found her hurt in an alley on her walk home from the market late at night. She tried her best to carry her to the clinic and after treatment Helena learned a lot more about the monster hunter. Vale became a regular around the clinic (hurt, and just to say hi (: )
Then it was some time before they finally go on their first official date. Helena doesn't find out Vale is voidsent for quiet some time.
